I would say that because wikis like this one has an obligation to be informative, information for releasing content should be added when available and verifiable. The movie's already out in several countries, so it seems weird to keep info away just because it's not out in some specific countries.
Would it be permitted to added plot details to wiki articles? While I do understand people wish to not be spoiled, the wiki as a source of information would benefit from a timely addition of content relevant to the franchise (i.e. what happens in Dominion).
I don’t see why that would be required. There’s also zero merch evidence of Cenozoic animals being in the film.
Here, now you're not forced to watch commentary over it
Until we have evidence of an alternative name, what we have is what we use. Opinions do not supersede official publications.
It's an opinion until you can back it up. Sino-Spino is the most official name we have thus far, as nobody's posted a counter-source to the junior novel.
Then please post a source affirming what the "full" name is for Sino-Spino. We shouldn't assume the name isn't Sino-Spino just because you dislike it.
I used to be more active a few years ago, but I've been kept busy with university courses and other hobbies
Please post a link to support this claim; I've asked you several times already.
Your opinion doesn't supersede canon information
And given it's the only name we have at the moment, it should be one considered official until we can say otherwise. We shouldn't assume it has some other name just because. Sino-Spino is the most parsimonious solution right now.
We can't really assume otherwise unless/until we have sources to say otherwise
I've asked you to site this claim several times, and you've consistently refused. The most official name we have is the Junior Novel, which refers to them as Sino-Spino.
?
To be fair, the parthenogenesis was already hinted at with other merchandise https://twitter.com/neojurassic/status/1370562818253058051
I mean for basic actions like walking, running, eating, and drinking. There will for sure be ones used between dinosaurs that share a rig.
There might be 1-2 unique animations per genus, but I'm near certain that the basics will be shared between rigs like in JWE1
Well it's less of an "if" because it got fully leaked. Now it's a matter of actually seeing it in action.
Did you ping me because of what Dinotime4 said? I believe they were talking about a game mod for JWE and not wiki mods.
I've been aware of the leaks for a couple days, I think the most confusing part is why Huayangosaurus is DLC when every other non-hybrid dinosaur is back from JWE1 into JWE2's base game. My current hypothesis is that It got swapped around with Cryolophosaurus so there would be slightly more than 3 new dinosaurs in the game
