Just in case you missed an episode:
The barge's first day at sea had immaculate weather. With clear skies and hardly any waves, the ship made it as far as the western Arabian Sea.
Ester was happy with the progress the ship had made. An aging member of the DPG, she was the navigator of this operation. Jess, the radar technician for the expedition, arrived on the bridge.
"I've detected to small signatures approaching the ship," she informed Ester.
"Any idea what they are?"
"Not right-"
Jess was interrupted by the sound of machine gun fire. That answered Ester's question.
"Pirates! Get down!"
Bullets rushed through the clear view screen as Ester and Jess ducked just below the glass.
"We should be able to wait them out," Ester guessed. "They probably can't get aboard."
The fire stopped. Ester looked over the windowsill.
"I was wrong."
The two pirates had boarded the barge and began unlocking the shipping containers. The dinosaurs were free.
"Stay here and stay down," Ester told Jess. "I'll take care of the pirates."
Ester grabbed a tranquilizer rifle and headed out.
