Just in case you missed an episode:
Ester opened the door, the light from the bridge flooding throughout the dark ship. Tonight, her dedication to protecting dinosaurs would be put to the test. She was the only thing that stood between the pirates and the animals.
She tried to be as quiet as she could. With night covering the intruders' eyes, their ears would be that much more sensitive.
"CAAWIN!"
A human voice. One of the pirates, judging by the language.
Something rushed past Ester. She turned to see a human figure. The pirate. He ran to the edge of the ship and jumped off without delay.
Ester heard a cracking sound and a yelp as she ran to the gunwale. She looked down to see the man had landed on a small motorboat. He had probably broken his legs in his fall off the barge.
Why was he so desperate to get off the ship?
The engine of the smaller boat started, and it left the side of the barge.
Weren't there two pirates? Why did he leave the other?
As Ester walked back to the bridge, something brushed her ankle. She picked it up.
It was a birdlike feather, although it was too long to belong to any bird. What did this come from?
Ester, now back on the bridge, looked through the ship's registry. Hatzegopteryx, Scelidosaurus, Yutyrannus . . . None of the dinosaurs the DPG was transporting matched the feather.
