JW BR is a series that I am making. In the end, I may type it up on the fanon. In the comments below, suggest ideas for what can happen next, or dinosaurs to appear. I will add a new episode three times per week, so feel free to start suggesting!
I put out two polls this week, on what the episode should be and the dinosaurs in it. I used the two most voted dinosaurs, but I did a random picker wheel and it landed on Stegouros. The Tethyshadros, Craterosaurus and Hypsilophodon will appear later on.
It had been a long, hot day, and it was now approaching dusk. Levine had been walking since he woke, running and climbing mostly. All he has was a rucksack containing an unconscious Ornitholestes and his Jacket. The Ornitholestes had eaten his food, and he was running low on water, but still driven by the motivation about solving the questions of where some of the new species were coming from. And he felt that the large building was the way to go.
As he walked, he held tight a pocketknife that he found on the floor of the forest. Some of the functions were rusty, but it did its job. Levine's eyes darted from side to side at any noise, and he stuck out the knife in front of him. However, there were no real threats, and he sunk it back into his fist and proceeded.
There was a rustling in his bag. He realised that the Ornitholestes must've woken up. He partially unzipped the bag to let some air through, and the small and snapping head of the Ornitholestes bit at his fingers. It was, however, unable to get through the hole. The creature chirped loudly, and attempted to climb out the bag. Levine felt like he was being watched from the bushes, and would occasionally see something small dart past in the corners of his eyes. He knew that he was getting closer to the building. As he walked, he saw more and more unusual footprints, and even two Stegouros within a clearing, contesting for territory. The thyreophorans would let out little squeaks and bang their tails on the floor. Then, the attack happened.
Several Ornitholestes jumped out of the bushes, leaping on Levine, attempting to tear off bits of flesh with their razor teeth. Levine knocked several off, but like a wave they kept coming. He ran as fast as he could, into an open clearing dominated by three Mamenchisaurus. He continued running, shaking off another Ornitholestes that got cocky. The creature landed in a deep, muddy pit caused by the Mamenchisaurs footfalls. It snarled in terror, and sunk. It's feathers weighing it down.
Levine eventually managed to outrun them. And, thankfully, the building was just mere metres ahead. It was a large white concrete building, with blue glass windows and a well-built pathway to the doors. He forced open the door, and looked around. It was large inside, with a polished white floor and grey walls. It was surprisingly modern, with large computer screens. Levine walked down to the end of the hall. There were several large cages, with bars made of reinforced steel. However, when he looked into one cage, he saw the discovery that he believed was here all along.
Diabloceratops.
Within a cage were two Diabloceratops. A species that was not cloned before the Second Incarnation of the Gene Guard Act!
Levine saw a phone and went to pick it up, to dial the DPW. But, he felt a sharp pain in the back of his head, and fell to the floor. The last thing he heard was Rick's voice saying softly "Goodnight, partner..."
Things all turned black.
