Synopsis[]
Years after escaping the dangers of Isla Nublar, Darius and friends are living among dinosaurs again — all while processing a devastating loss.
Plot Summary[]
The episodes starts with two Department of Prehistoric Wildlife agents responding to a call regarding a lone Pachyrhinosaurus. As the two agents are initially hesitant to approach the animal, Darius Bowman rides up in his truck, and manages to calm the animal down. He speaks briefly with the agents, before an Allosaurus bursts on the scene, attacking the agents and the ceratopsian. While the two dinosaurs fight, Darius attempts to shoot it, but it escapes. He chases the Allosaurus in his truck but it manages to get away.
Frustrated, Darius returns to his cabin, as he receives a call from his brother, while preparing to investigate reports of a dinosaur at Marshall Ridge. After calling his brother, Darius sits down and watches an old recording of when he and the campers returned to the mainland. Later, Darius is awoken from a nap by the phone ringing again, only to find no answer on the other end.
Seeing someone at the door, Darius grabs a taser and proceeds to open it while attempting to attack whoever is at the door. However, Ben Pincus manages to grab the taser before it strikes him. The two catch up as he sees Ben acting paranoid just like he has been. Darius attempts to get Ben to go with him to chase the Allosaurus. The two mourn Brooklynn’s death, as Ben reassures him that her death wasn't his fault. However, Ben speculates her death may have been no accident.
Ben shows Darius some data he managed to obtain off the website ‘Dark Jurassic’, indicating his research regarding a possible conspiracy. Just then, the cabin is assaulted by a pair of Atrociraptors, which burst through the window. The dinosaurs attack the pair in the house, although Darius and Ben manage to tase the animals and escape the cabin. Just as they manage to escape, they see another Atrociraptor outside of the cabin, and it lunges at them.
