Transcript

The following is a transcript for the Jurassic World: Chaos Theory episode "All Night Long"

[The episode opens with a view of Yaz sleeping, she whimpers and wakes up, notices the trees, gasps, stands up, and looks at Uncle Oumar's place. She looks at the river, and realizes that no one's there. She stands up, and puts her hand against a tree, breathing heavily.]
Yaz: Take it easy, Fadoula. One step at a time. [She starts walking.] Gotta signal the others I'm okay or they will be worried sick. [She realizes the Suchomimus is eating the hippo. She covers her mouth, and hides behind a bush. She watches the Suchomimus sniffing for her, and walks towards her. Cut to the crew on the boats.]
Sammy: How could we have left Yaz behind?
Darius: I-I didn't see her.
Kenji: We have to go back for her!
Zayna: Right. We should turn the boats around and--
Sammy: No. Pull the boats to shore.
Zayna: Sammy, this area we're in, it's not safe to travel by land.
Sammy: Land, water, air... It's all dangerous, Zayna.
Darius: Look, we're all worried about Yaz, but we can't just shout out our ideas with dinosaurs and hippos around every corner.
Zayna: That's not all that's out there. There are--
Sammy: The current is too strong for us to stay on the water.
Kenji: And it'll take way too long. Time Yaz might not have.
Sammy: So just steer the boat to shore. [Ben and Zayna glare at each other.] [Sammy stamps her foot in the boat.] Turn the boat, Ben!
Darius: Sammy, who knows this area better than Zayna? Maybe if she's saying land isn't the way to go, shouldn't we listen to her?
Sammy: [glares at Zayna, mad.] Fine.
[They start their boats and ride off. Cut to Yaz seeing the Suchomimus trying to find her. The Suchomimus shakes the water off of itself and one of its feet appear in front of Yaz and keeps moving. It steps in front of a flashlight and Yaz notices it. The Suchomimus is rubbing its body against a tree. Yaz tries to get the flashlight, but the Suchomimus goes to sleep. Yaz crawls very slowly to get the flashlight, but its tail appears in front of her and the dinosaur wraps its tail around the flashlight. Yaz steps over the Suchomimus very slowly and almost trips to get the flashlight. She sees the Suchomimus yawning and then she grabs the flashlight. The Suchomimus yawns again and Yaz jumps over its tail. And she starts breathing shakily. She notices some trees she can climb up. Cut to the crew riding in their boats. Sammy notices a Compsognathus with her flashlight as is runs off.]
Sammy: [groans] Can't this thing go faster?
Darius: Hey, hey, Sammy. I hear you, but if we push it too hard, we'll have no boats at all.
Sammy: [groans] Wouldn't have this problem on land.
[Darius pulls his boat up to the other boat. Darius and Zayna both glare at each other.]
Darius: Hey.
Ben: Huh?
Darius: Switch spots with me. I wanna talk to... [quietly] Zayna.
Ben: What? Talk to Zayna? [Zayna notices that Ben's flashlight is flashing in her eyes, but Ben turns it off.]
Darius: Yeah, I wanna talk to Zayna.
Ben: Uh, I gue--
Darius: Okay, great.
Ben: Ow, ow, hey, hey, hey.
[Darius and Ben both switch spots. Darius puts his hands on Ben's boat and puts his hands up.]
Darius: Thanks, pal.
Ben: Darius, wait! [groans and notices that his boat takes off and Kenji and Ben glare at each other.]
Ben: Well, look who it is. The Kenjinator.
Kenji: My main man, Benny.
[Ben starts his boat's engine and starts riding off. Cut to Zayna and Darius glaring at each other.]
Darius: Hey... How you doing, champ?
Zayna: Champ? What is this? What are you doing?
Darius: You know? Sometimes people act out when they're overwhelmed by their emotions. [Looks at Sammy, who scoffs at Darius.] Like, um... They're like... A river. Yeah. An overflowing river, and it's flooding the town. Everyone's all... [mocks screaming] "Why is this river doing this to me?" "My socks are soaked." And Sammy soaked your socks. Proverbially. But only because she's a raging river who's had downpour after downpour. But you and her, you're both suns, you know? Yeah. I wouldn't take it personally. Is there anything you'd like to share?
Zayna: Sammy's girlfriend is lost and alone, surrounded by killer animals, so why would I take anything she says right now personally?
Darius: Oh. Right, right. I-I guess you wouldn't.
Zayna: River. Really? [She makes her boat go faster.]
[Cut to Yaz climbing a tree.]
Yaz: Okay. Operation Signal My Girlfriend is a go. [tries to turn on her flashlight] Huh? [She tries to make it turn on, but it does turn on.] [groans] Come on. [Notices that the flashlight flashed right in her eyes. She also notices that two Dimorphodons are sitting on the tree, and Yaz tries to avoid them. The Dimorphodons make Yaz drop her flashlight, and it flashes right in the Suchomimus' eye and it wakes up. The Dimorphodons are still attacking Yaz. She kicks one of them off and climbs down from the tree. She almost slips and watches a Dimorphodon flying towards her, but the Suchomimus attacks it. Yaz climbs down from the tree and runs off and grabs her flashlight. Another Dimorphodon tries to grab onto her shoulders, but she punches it, causing it to fly away and join the other Dimorphodons. Yaz realizes the Suchomimus is right in front of her. It roars at her, and she runs away from it, and hides behind a table in Oumar's place. The Suchomimus looks for her. Cut to the crew riding on their boats. Kenji notices rustling from a bush.]
Kenji: Hey! Over there. [He notices a Compy, but turns his flashlight off.] Nevermind.
Ben: Kenji?
Kenji: I shouldn't have done that.
Ben: Done what?
Kenji: Run right at the Sucho. It was gonna leave us alone, but I did it anyway, and now Yaz is gone, and... It's my fault. Why do the people I care about keep getting... [Puts his head down] I don't know how much more I can take.
Ben: You've been through a lot. It can't be easy. I get it. I got stuff I can't figure out how to talk about, either. And I'm sure you'd rather talk to Yaz anyway. She's way better at this stuff than I am.
Kenji: You know, you're surprisingly not that bad.
Ben: We'll get her back.
Kenji: Are you sure you don't wanna talk about your stuff? Couldn't possibly be as heavy as the old Kenjinator just was.
Ben: Oh. [chuckles] You'd be surprised. I'll handle the rudder, you just keep and eye out for Yaz.
[Kenji notices the Dimorphodons flying towards him and the crew.]
Darius: [sighs] Dimorphodons. Maybe they won't notice.
Zayna: [gasps] Too late.
[The Dimorphodons screech and charge toward the crew. Darius and Zayna hug each other and duck. Sammy ducks as well. She notices a Dimorphodon flying towards her.]
Ben: Sammy!
[Ben tosses Sammy his paddle, and she whacks the Dimorphodon with Ben's paddle, casuing it to fall into the water. Another one is flying towards Ben and Kenji.]
Ben: Oh jeez, oh jeez, oh jeez!
[Kenji whacks one of the Dimorphodons with his paddle, causing it to fall into the water. Sammy is seen trying to get the Dimorphodons with her paddle.]
Darius: Who are you trying to hit, Sam?
Sammy: [Whacks a Dimorphodon with her paddle] Leave a review later.
[A Dimorphodon pushes Sammy into the water, but Zayna catches her just in time.]
Zayna: Gotcha!
[Zayna tries to pull Sammy onto the boat, but she lets go, and Darius helps her, but a Dimorphodon is flying towards them.]
Darius: Zayna!
[Zayna whacks a Dimorphodon with a gasoline can, casuing it to fall into the water. Darius pulls Sammy onto the boat. The Dimorphodons are flying past the crew.]
Kenji: Had enough? Yeah, you have! Whoo!
[They all groan in relief.]
Zayna: What are they doing now?
[One of the Dimorphodons flies into the water, catching a fish. It flies out of the water and lands on the ground. The crew watches the Dimorphodon eating the fish. The crew notices glowing eyes in the distance.]
Sammy: Uh, what are those?
Zayna: Lions.
[The Dimorphodon continues to eat the fish, but hears something. One of the lions roar and attacks the Dimorphodon.]
Sammy: If we'd have... If that were us, we'd be dead. Zayna, I'm... I'm sorry. Like, really, really sorry. About how I've treated you. And you were so strong and confident, and I'm so proud of you, and sorry, and... Will you forgive me?
Zayna: I forgive you. [They both hug each other.]
[The crew start their boats and continue to ride in the water. Cut to Yaz hiding from the Suchomimus. She crawls and hides behind the side of the table so the Suchomimus doesn't see her. She notices a boat, and turns on her flashlight, causing the Suchomimus to realize the spotlight. It walks over to the flashlight and knocks it over, and realizes that Yaz has taken the boat. Yaz is seen carrying the boat, but the Suchomimus grabs onto it, causing her to fly, then fall over. The dinosaur drops the boat and destroys it and Yaz runs away from it while it follows her. Yaz uses a cutting board as a raft to swim to the other side. The Suchomimus watches her and steps into the water, and swims towards her, causing her to gasp. She swims away as fast as she could, but the Suchomimus catches up. She looks for land, and she grabs onto a tree and climbs over the roots of the tree and hides from the Suchomimus. The dinosaur realizes she's not there, and swims off. Yaz sighs and walks backwards and stops. She walks forwards and notices the lions and gasps. She turns around and walks backwards. Another dinosaur is seen about to attack the lion, and Yaz tumbles down, crawling backwards. She realizes the Majungasaurus is there too. Cut to the crew riding on their boats. Darius notices his engine spluttering.]
Darius: I do not like that sound.
Ben: Should we give the engines a break?
Sammy: Huh? What?
Kenji: Uh, no. We have to keep going.
Sammy: Just a little longer.
Darius: I don't think we have a little longer.
Ben: We can't keep going if we don't have boats.
Sammy: We can't stop now.
Kenji: Yaz is out there.
[Yaz is heard yelling, but the overlapping talk is heard.]
Kenji: What are we gonna do?
Yaz: [heard off-screen in the distance] Hello?
[Zayna shushes them and listens for Yaz.]
Yaz: [heard off-screen in the distance] Sammy!
Sammy: [gasps] Over there!
Kenji: Yaz!
[Sammy notices Yaz running towards them, and Sammy pulls the boats to shore.]
Sammy: Yasmina!
Darius: Sammy, be careful!
Sammy: Yaz!
[Yaz trips while Sammy runs to her.]
Sammy: Yaz! You're okay.
Yaz: RUN!
[They notice the Majungasaurus appears right in front of them and it tries to attack them, but they run away just in time. Ben, Darius, Zayna, and Kenji runs up to them, but the Majungasaurus sees them.]
Sammy: GO!
Yaz: MOVE YOUR BUTTS!
[They all scream as the Suchomimus appears from under the water. It roars at them and they start running away, but the Majungasaurus and Suchomimus encounter each other. The dinosaurs roar at each other and start fighting. The kids run to their boats, but Sammy and Yaz duck the Majungasaurus' tail and run off. The two dinosaurs start fighting each other. The Suchomimus bites the Majungasaurus' head and it bites back and tumbles the Suchomimus over, but it gets up and bites the Majungasaurus. The kids are seen getting the boats to the water.]
Kenji: Start the boats!
[Darius tries to get his boat to the water, and Zayna helps her. The two dinosaurs continue fighting, and the Majungasaurus bites the Sucho on the back. Its arms stops moving and the kids notice the Majungasaurus defeating the Suchomimus. The Sucho pushes the boats and the Majungasaurus steps on it and tries to bite Darius' feet. The Majungasaurus steps in the water, and the kids realize it, and it steps out of the water, walks backwards, and roars at them. Sammy tries to start her boat, but the engines are hot.]
Sammy: No, no, no! The engines are too hot! [She tries to start the boat by banging on the engine, but Yaz grabs her hand.]
Yaz: It's okay, Sam. We're safe.
Sammy: I was so scared-- [She tries to hug her, but Kenji does it first.]
Kenji: [laughs] I was so scared. I am so sorry for leaving you behind, and for--
Yaz: Okay. Don't beat yourself up, Kenj. Kenji.
Kenji: Ah. [chuckles]
Yaz: I really wanna hug my girl right now.
Kenji: Oh. Right. Say no more. Turning away. [Steps on the other boat.]
[Sammy and Yaz both hug each other.]
Darius: Suchomimuses, Dimorphodons, and now another Majungasaurus. There sure are a lot of dinosaurs around here. Is that normal?
Zayna: Uh, what happens when I say it's not?
Darius: Hmm... Then it means we're on the right track.
Ben: [notices something] Look. I recognize that shipping container. Which means that must've been the same Majungasaurus from the cargo ship. But that would've been too big to come up this river.
Ben: Maybe Captain Lang unloaded the dinos onto smaller boats. Though by the looks of this debris, and the Majungasaurus running around, at least one of the smaller boats didn't make it to where it was going.
Zayna: But where does that go?
Ben: This must be what I saw on the map.
Darius: Well, the cargo ship was headed to the Broker...
Ben: Which means the boats they were using were going there too.
Sammy: And so were the eggs, before we took 'em.
Zayna: So, we are going to go up there, right? To find the Broker, the eggs, and Geba?
Sammy: Definitely. In this fam, we keep going till we get our loved ones back.
[Zayna puts her hand on the engine, and tries to make it go faster, but the engine splutters.]
Zayna: Come on, come on.
[The propeller of the engine struggles moving, but it starts moving and the boats continue to ride upriver. Cut to Brooklynn's place.]
Brooklynn: You've reached Brooklynn's phone. No one leaves messages anymore, Just text me. Bye. [hangs up] Ben. I know you're in Senegal. You have to get out of there right now. It's not safe. We-- The Broker and me, we're leaving for the airport any minute. We're coming your way. You're all in danger. Get out of there. You have to--
Soyona: You ready?
[Brooklynn notices Soyona is behind her. She grabs her backpack.]
Brooklynn: Absolutely.
[Brooklynn and Soyona walk in the elevator and Soyona closes the elevator door, ending the episode.]
