The Lost World: Jurassic Park video game[]

Allosaurus first appeared in the PSX/Sega Saturn game of The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Here, they were shown as living in caves near the Human Camp in large numbers and would attack the player's Tyrannosaurus rex moving through the area. They bear a similar orange/brown striped pattern to the later appearance in Operation Genesis. The Allosaur's existence in this game might be the reason why Giganotosaurus is not featured here, although the Giganotosaurus is seen in Velociraptor’s gallery. The coloration also resemble the Velociraptor variant seen in The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Jurassic Park III: Park Builder[]

Allosaurus also appears in the game Jurassic Park III: Park Builder.

Allosaurus1-1-

Allosaurus is a four-star large carnivore in the video game Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. They appear to be orange to brown in color and they seem to spend most of the time stalking in the dense woodlands. Even though it is not quite fast enough to catch prey such as Dryosaurus, it will ambush and kill them if it can seize an opportunity. It is also notable that unlike the other large carnivores, who will fight each other (such as territory), Allosaurus is quite hesitant and is often hunted by other large carnivores, unless it is on a rampage, has been modded, or is stressed. If this doesn't occur than the Allosaurus will usually retreat to safety. It should be noted that in the game it does not kill large sauropods, such as Brachiosaurus, but will attack smaller prey close to its size. It is also somewhat more robust than the actual animal (though this might because it is based on the African species, A. tendagurensis which the latter's is from the formation excavated in the game, although classified as an Allosaurus for years, the most recent analysis has placed Allosaurus tendagurensis in the carcharodontosauridae).

2007[]

Jurassic Park: Explorer[]

Allosaurus is featured in the DVD game Jurassic Park: Explorer. A player earns a dinosaur when he/she wins a minigame, when the earned dinosaur is an Allosaurus this video will be shown. The Allosaurus in this game was actually, a recolored Tyrannosaurus. Presumably, when the game was made, the developers did not have enough time to create an Allosaurus, so they reused a T. rex to portray the dinosaur. This also happened with the Albertosaurus.

Jurassic Park: Builder[]

Allosaurus could be created as a silver carnivorous dinosaur in the Jurassic Park section of the game. John Hammond says it is one of his favorite dinosaurs.

Jurassic World: The Game[]

See: Allosaurus/JW: TG

Allosaurus can be created in the park in Jurassic World: The Game as a rare non-hybrid carnivore dinosaur. Like most large theropods, it uses the same model as Tyrannosaurus rex, which in turn depicts it with 2 fingers instead of 3.

Jurassic World Facts[]

In the Jurassic World Facts app, there are many different variants of the Allosaurus that appear. There are a total of 6 to be shown that come in different Mattel lines such as: Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, Dino Rivals, Dino Escape (x2), Jurassic World Dominion, and Epic Evolution. The Allosaurus is also a main dinosaur in the featured minigame "Ride 'N Rampage", and is the only playable dinosaur in it.

Jurassic World: Alive[]

See: Allosaurus/JW: A

Allosaurus appears in Jurassic World: Alive as a fierce creature. The common main Gen variant in the game since its launch at Version 1.0 is based on the Fallen Kingdom juvenile, while the Epic Gen 2 variant released in Update 1.9 is based on the Battle at Big Rock adult.

Jurassic World Evolution[]

Allosaurus appears in a free Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom update for Jurassic World: Evolution. It looks almost exactly as the juveniles in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, although the only major difference is that the game version has spines going down its back.

Release From Hatchery[]

Here's what concerns me about your latest dinosaur, the Allosaurus. That it's an apex predator? No. That it could bring down animals twice its size? Also no. Nope. Instead, my problem with the Allosaurus is that, unlike the T. rex, or even the Velociraptor, the Allosaurus seems... optimized. It's chaos locking in on a solution. Creating efficiencies. And that makes me nervous.

- Dr. Ian Malcolm
Jurassic Tour[]
"Allosaurus' ability to open her jaws extremely wide means she lacks bite force. This doesn't stop her from being an aggressive, combative creature."
"An unusual abundance of fossil specimens means that the Allosaurus is one of the most commonly studied dinosaurs."

Profile[]
Allosaurus is a powerful large theropod that eats large quantities of meat from any source. They are normally solitary, and hunt both large and small prey over a wide territory. They will coexist with a good number of other dinosaur species. Allosaurus prefers large areas of open grassland for its territory.

Description[]
Allosaurus was a large theropod dinosaur. An unusually large number of fossil specimens makes the Allosaurus one of the best studied dinosaurs of all time. Its name means 'different lizard'.
Notable features of the Allosaurus are a very strong skull and the ability to open its jaws extremely wide. It had a relatively weak bite force, unlike the largest theropod
Discovery[]
The first incomplete Allosaurus fossils were discovered in 1869. Major operations in the 1960s then uncovered over 45 specimens at the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry.
Paleoecology[]
The Morrison Formation is a semiarid flat floodplain. Life would have been supported by river-lining ferns and conifer forests throughout both wet and dry seasons. Allosaurus existed at the same time as other large theropods, each appearing to fill a different ecological niche.

2021[]

Jurassic World Evolution 2[]

Allosaurus returns in Jurassic World Evolution 2 under its main appearance in the prequel. By December 8th, a skin under its appearance in Jurassic World: Dominion was released in the Dominion Malta Pack Expansion.

Jurassic World: Aftermath[]

Seen in the vault apart of the DLC, the Allosaurus skull is on display in the Vault in a secure glass case.

Jurassic World: Primal Ops[]

Allosaurus was an epic dinosaur in the T. rex family (despite being an allosaurid) that could be rescued and tamed in the game.

2023[]

Minecraft Jurassic World Adventures[]

Allosaurus appears in Minecraft Jurassic World Adventures. Since this DLC is themed around Jurassic World: Dominion, it is based off this movie.

2025[]

Minecraft Jurassic World Add-on[]

Allosaurus is among the dinosaurs who return in this new Minecraft DLC.

Jurassic World Evolution 3[]

Allosaurus appears in Jurassic World Evolution 3 using its movie model for the base game. It can now have babies, as seen with an interaction between one and an adult in the first trailer.
