Ampelorex is a genetically modified dinosaur hybrid of Ampelosaurus and the Tyrannosaur Buck (Tyrannosaurus rex). It currently only appeared in Jurassic World: Alive. According to the game, Ampelorex is a predatory sauropod that uses its similarity to other long-necked herbivores as a hunting advantage. It has been observed blending into herd of Apatosaurus and Ampelosaurus in order to pick off weak herd members from within.
