Barosaurus was a large Diplodocidae that lived in the Upper Jurassic Period. It could grow up to 27 meters ( 89 feet) in length and weigh up to 22 tons. It was closely related to Diplodocus.
Other names Barosaurus had was Gigantosaurus (not to be confused with the super predator Giganotosaurus).
