Batrachotomus is a genus of prehistoric archosaur that is found in southern Germany. This animal was quite large, reaching up to 20 feet in length, and was quadrupedal. This species also had small plates running along its back, giving it a distinguished appearance from other animals. It lived in the Triassic about 242-237 million years ago.
