Betasuchus is an extinct genus of abelisaur theropod dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous in the Netherlands. Living in the Maastricht Formation, it seem that Betasuchus is an opportunist carnivore that hunt hadrosaurs and eat carcass of dead marine reptiles near the coasts. It can swim, but by doing so, it become a prey to Mosasaurus.
