Carlos is the captain of the Mar Del Plata in The Lost World: Jurassic Park who took Ian Malcolm and his team to Isla Sorna.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park[]
He refused to accompany them to the interior because he feared "The Five Deaths" and heard too many stories about fishermen who came close to the island and never returned. He was the father of Higo, seen at his side. He only spoke Spanish, so Nick Van Owen translated what he was saying in Spanish to Ian Malcolm in English. He had a radio and satellite phone and would show up in two hours, if the group called, but he would not stay near the islands.
Malcolm tried to call him on the radio on his team's trailer, but it didn't work out.

Carlos appears as an unlockable character in LEGO Jurassic World. After completing the level Isla Sorna, Carlos becomes available for purchase for 40,000 LEGO studs.
