Yangchuanosaurus is a genus of metriacanthosaurid theropod dinosaur that lived during the Bathonian to the Berriasian stages of the Middle Jurassic to the Early Cretaceous in what is now China, around 168,3 to 140 million years ago. The genus was first discovered and named in 1978.
