The central bearded dragon (Pogona vitticeps), also known as the inland bearded dragon, is a species of agamid lizard that lives in the semiarid woodlands, arid woodlands, and rocky deserts of Australia. It is a skilled climber and present sexual dimorphism. As the name suggests, the dragon has a sort of "beard" that it uses during the mating season.
It is an opportunistic omnivore. It basically eats vegetation, fruits, insects, worms, as well as small rodents and lizards.
