Ceratops is a dubious genus of ceratopsian dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous in what is now the Judith River Formation in Montana, the United States. While the genus is poorly known in medias, Ceratops was an important dinosaur in the history of dinosaurs as it is the type genus for which both the Ceratopsia and the Ceratopsidae have been named.
