A Cholinesterase Bomb is a stun grenade-like weapon that paralyses animals or individuals for a very short term.

This bomb appeared only in The Lost World. As Kelly Curtis passed Sarah Harding a pack marked with a skull and crossbones, they found it contained three square blocks that were rubbery and a small silver cylinder which the delirious Ian Malcolm slowly identified it as the bomb and told Harding what it could do. He cautioned her as she opened the cylinder, nearly activating it. Throwing it towards the four Velociraptors that were outside the trailer, it did not explode until a raptor bit into it. With the absence of wind, the raptor pack was paralyzed not killed however Kelly and Harding managed to dislodge a raptor lying over the bike.[1]
This bomb is similar to the Toxic Metacholine (Mivacuriam) cylinder that Richard Levine decided not to use against the raptors in their nest lest it harmed Arby Benton.[2]
