Coelhaast is a genetically modified hybrid of Coelurosauravus and Haast's eagle (Hieraaetus moorei) that appears in Jurassic World: Alive. The hybrid resembles that of the famous mythical creature, the Griffin.

Unlike its hybrid parent Coelurosauravus, the Coelhaast can not only glide on its wings, but also flap them to achieve true flight! It inherited this trait from the powerful Haast Eagle!
