The common myna or Indian myna (Acridotheres tristis), sometimes spelled mynah, is a bird in the family Sturnidae, native to Asia. An omnivorous open woodland bird with a strong territorial instinct, the common myna has adapted extremely well to urban environments.
Introduced in Florida, Oceania, the Middle East, southern Africa, and Madagascar, the common myna is one of the only three birds that are listed in "100 of the world's most invasive species."

Jurassic Park: The Game[]
Isla Nublar has a population of common mynas during the construction of Jurassic Park.
A flock of mynas is chased by an escaped Pteranodon from the aviary before the pterosaur attacks Alpha Team's helicopter. Another flock of common mynas are later flying off the island at the end.
Trivia[]
- While it is possible that they may have been introduced to Isla Nublar, the bird hasn't been known to invade Central or South America in reality.
