Ctenospondylus ("comb vertebra") is an extinct genus of sphenacodontid synapsid that lived during the Early Permian in what is now Ohio and Texas. It is a close relative of Dimetrodon and was probably the apex predator in its environment due to its large size. The species was discovered in 1936 and was named by Alfred Sherwood Romer.

Jurassic World: Primal Ops[]
Ctenospondylus was intended to be added in an update of Jurassic World: Primal Ops, but was cut due to the game's closure. Had it been added, it would have been in the same family as Dimetrodon and Lupeosaurus. The model of the prehistorical animal hasn't been found or revealed.
