Dunkleosteus was a giant, predatory fish that lived in the Late Devonian period. Dunkleosteus (means “Dunkle’s bones” in Greek), named after David Dunkle, a curator.[1]. Instead of teeth, the Dunkleosteus had 2 long blades made out of bones.[2] Dunkleosteus could eat anything, even its own kind.[3]

Dunkleosteus is the first fish species added to Jurassic World Evolution 2. The Dunkleosteus was added via the Prehistoric Marine Species Pack DLC that was released on August 10th, 2023.[4]
