Trivia[]
- This episode has several callbacks to the previous films:
- Darius stating that the second Scorpios rex's birth is likely possible if its parent have the ability to reproduce asexually by having the DNA of certain frog species in its genome is a callback to a scene where Alan Grant made a similar hypothesis after he and the kids found a raptor nest and eggs at the base of a tree.
- The wrecked limo's position against the tree is similar the wrecked Ford Explorer after Alan gets Tim out of its wreckage and make a mad dash down the tree to avoid it.
- The scene where Sammy, Brooklynn, Kenji and Yaz only found Darius and Ben's footprints outside the wrecked limo is just like how Ellie Sattler and Robert Muldoon searched the aforementioned wrecked Ford Explorer for Alan and Tim, but only found their footprints instead.
- The kitchen scene appears to be a reference to the original Velociraptor kitchen scene. As the group flees, a metal ladle collapses to the floor, possibly the same one that gave away Tim's position.
- When Darius fired the tranquillizer at the Scorpios rex, the dart is shown flying in slow-motion, which is a reference to the climatic scene from The Lost World: Jurassic Park where Sarah Harding tranqs the male T. rex.
- The fight between Blue and the Scorpios rexes mirrors Rexy's fight with the Velociraptors at the end of Jurassic Park, except with the Raptor being the good guy and the Rexes being the bad guys. The music from the final fight of Jurassic Park is also briefly used during the fight.
- The Visitor Center is officially destroyed in this episode.
- This is the final actual appearance of the Scorpios rexes, after they were both crushed to death from the debris of the old Visitor Center collapsed.
- This is the third and final appearance of the Visitor Center from Jurassic Park.
- This is the first time seeing a baby Brachiosaurus in the Jurassic Park/World franchise - Camp Cretaceous.
