Excavaraptor is a fictional dinosaur that is featured in John Sayles' draft of the Jurassic Park IV script. No known official illustration of it exists, but they are described as being jet black, with long, sharp claws on their hands and a bow-legged stance. They nest in burrows underground, and emerge from them to ambush their victims.

When Nick Harris returned to Isla Nublar in search of Nedrys Barbasol Canister, he encountered a “raptor”. It was dark in colour with large, powerful claws. They chased him into their underground caves. Thankfully Harris escaped, but was later attacked by the Kronosaurus. It is unknown who cloned these, but as they were not on InGens list, it can be presumed that the Grendel Corporation cloned them after taking ownership of the island in the 2000s.
