The FMC AAVP7A1 (RAM/RS) was an armored amphibious vehicle utilized by the US military. Following Dr. Alan Grant's call to his colleague Dr. Ellie Degler, whose husband Mark worked at the State Department, the US Marines and a man from the State Department arrived on Isla Sorna in five AAVP7A1s to rescue Grant and the Kirby family.
