Fabrosaurus is an extinct genus of herbivorous dinosaur from the Early Jurassic Elliot Formation of South Africa. Its name originates from Jean Fabre, a French geologist on the expedition that collected the fossils of the dinosaur. Due to the paucity of remains of this species, its classification is uncertain, although it has been suggested to be the same animal as Lesothosaurus or, at the very least, a relative. If the creature existed, it may have been an ancestor of Xiaosaurus. It was probably pretty quick. This dinosaur is in the now invalid family group known as the Fabrosauridae.
