Chaos is a Baryonyx and a supporting antagonist in the second season of the animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, as well as a minor character in the third and fifth seasons.

Physical Appearance

Chaos is a Baryonyx comprised of blue and grey complexion. Her overall design is closer in resemblance to the individuals featured in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Personality

Chaos cares deeply for her companions Limbo and Grim, as shown when Chaos and Limbo tracked down Grim and Chaos attempted to break her out of a cage she was stuck in. Chaos and Limbo were deeply saddened at Grim's death at the hands of Tiff, and immediately moved to avenge their packmate. While this bond was quite strong, Chaos and Limbo were known to squabble on occasion, even in the midst of a hunt.

History

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous

Season 2

"The Art of Chill"

Chaos was one of the Baryonyx kept at Jurassic World, where she formed a close bond with other members of her species Grim and Limbo. At some point Grim was taken to a medical center on the island, eventually being abandoned there when the Jurassic World Incident forced the island to be abandoned. Within days, Limbo and Chaos broke out of their habitat and searched for Grim, bringing them to the facility as park survivors Brooklynn, Darius Bowman, and Sammy Gutierrez had found the camp. While Chaos attempted to free their packmate, Limbo attacked the humans until they managed to free a herd of Stegosaurus, whom confronted Limbo and forced Chaos to back him up. The pair attempted to scare off the herbivores, but were unable to until Darius freed Grim, and together the pack scared off the herd. After this encounter, Sammy dubbed each Baryonyx with their names.

"The Watering Hole"

Some time later, Limbo and Chaos found and investigated a genetics lab, where Chaos encountered and attempted to hunt Brooklynn, Sammy, and Yasmina Fadoula. She bumped into Limbo and began fighting with him, allowing the girls to escape.

"Misguided"

A day later, the pack foraged near a storage shed where Brooklynn, Hap, Kenji Kon, Ben Pincus, and an Ankylosaurus named Bumpy were searching for a vehicle. The group managed to hide from the Baryonyx within the building, until Brooklynn accidentally opened the garage door and alerted the pack. With little options, the group set off an explosion in the building while Brooklynn, Hap, and Kenji rode off on a motorcycle and Ben did the same on Bumpy. After briefly being dazed, the Baryonyx gave pursuit of the motorcycle until Hap jumped off and sacrificed himself in order to distract the pack.

"Chaos Theory"

One night as the pack was sleeping, Grim awoke and slunk off after a noise. Chaos and Limbo were awoken by a gunshot and discovered Grim dead, upsetting them up. The pair begin stalking her killers, Mitch and Tiff, in order to avenge Grim's death. As they travel they witnessed Mitch being devoured by Rexy the Tyrannosaurus, but managed to catch up with Tiff as she attempted to ride off on her boat, jumping onto the boat and killing her thus fulfilling their oath to kill the poacher responsible for killing Grim.

Season 3

"Whatever It Takes"

While mercenary Reed was tracking Yaz and Darius to retrieve an important laptop they had stolen, he ran into Limbo and Chaos, who promptly killed him for the intrusion.

Season 5

"Shaky Ground"

As Brandon Bowman was looking for his brother Darius, he came across Chaos and as she saw him, she stood and stared at him, before she roared and began to attack him. As Chaos starts chasing Brandon, he notices a tree and climbs up it to get away from Chaos, but as she tries jumping and eating Brandon, Roxie fires two tranquilizer darts and puts Chaos to sleep and Dave fires another dart just to be safe. Dave tells Brandon that she's asleep and will wake about 20 minutes or so, long enough for them to get away.

"Clean Break"

As Kenji and Mae talk about their lives and observe a Parasaurolophus herd covering up an old member of their herd with leaves, Chaos appears from out of the buses and attacks the herd. As, she tries attacking the herd and not noticing the "old one" hiding under the leaves, the other Parasaurolophuses evade and attack Chaos keeping her distracted, eventually pretending that they are fleeing the area, only to trick Chaos to get her away from the old one. As Chaos sees that the Parasaurolophus herd is gone, she gives up her hunt and leaves and the area.

Chaos was added as a skin for the Baryonyx along with her siblings on March 8th, 2022 in the Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack.

A mini-figure of Chaos appear as part of the toy-line for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. A figure of Chaos is set to appear for the upcoming "Dino Escape" line.

Trivia

• It is unknown what happened to Chaos. She was either taken off the island with the other dinosaurs and taken to the Lockwood Manor, either was bought by a businessman, escaped and now roams free in the world or died during the Eruption of Mt. Sibo on Isla Nublar.
• She is the only one of her siblings to not have died on-screen, although her current status still remains unknown.
• Had she not died in 2016, she was probably one of the 5 remaining Baryonxes on Isla Nublar, the one whom Claire and Franklin encounter in the lava shelter (this would mean that she is deceased), the one that Rexy kills in Blue VR (this would also mean that she is deceased), or one of the three who were transported and sold to a buyer at the Lockwood Manor. So, her status remains unknown.
