Roxie is a supporting character of the Netflix series, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, serving as a major character of Season 1, a mentioned character of Seasons 2 and 3, and a supporting character of Season 5. Her character is voiced by Jameela Jamil.
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous[]
Season 1[]
Roxie is the head camp counselor at Camp Cretaceous who is joined by Dave. She is seen guiding the kids through activities and making sure everyone is following the rules. She unfortunately has to deal with the campers constantly getting in danger. When the Indominus rex escapes, she and Dave are in waiting to talk to Claire Dearing to discuss the need for more staff at the camp due to the incidents. She wonders why it has been so long, picking the lock of a cabinet revealing sets of ACU walkie-talkies. She hears roaring and screams over the radios, and the life monitors turn red. Realizing something has gone wrong, she and Dave set out to find the kids, tracking their ACU Ipad. They always remain just five minutes behind them and are eventually forced to board the evacuation ferries by a staff member. Roxie and Dave are last seen attempting to turn the boat around to return to Isla Nublar and pick up the campers, but fail to do so. She and Dave most likely made it back to the mainland safely afterwards, and what they did afterwards is unknown.
Season 2[]
Roxies voice is heard over Dave's demo which was found by Kenji, located in the campers old bunks.
Season 3[]
Roxie doesn't appear, but Darius reminds Kenji that Dave and Roxie saved them from the Velociraptors, when they encounter Blue.
Season 5[]
Roxie finally makes her apperance in the final season, along with Dave. Where they are in a video call with Brandon, telling them that they believe the campers are alive.
They arrive at Isla Nublar and begin to look for the children, they find the destroyed camp and the house that the campers built and they spend the night there. Later, they come across Mitch and Tiff's abandoned camp, much to their dismay, they find the remains of a Sinoceratops' head. Later while they are next to a campfire they are found by Dr. Mae Turner and she decides to help them find the campers, she takes them to Mantah Corp Island and they gather the children, just after they defeated Mantah Corp and finally they took them home.
Personality[]
Roxie is more organized than Dave, and skilled at keeping things on schedule. She is very concerned about the campers and is quite hot-headed. Roxie displays more focus then Dave prior to the incident.
Trivia[]
- Roxie being an English character put in charge of a group of kids at Jurassic World may be a reference to Zara from Jurassic World. However Zara is a fairly minor character and killed off while Roxie is given more focus and survives the events of the series, eventually being evacuated with the rest of the evacuated tourists.
- The outfit that Roxie wears in season 5 is the same as Dr. Ellie Sattler's due to its colors.
