Captain Frederick D. Farrell was the ship captain of the vessel known as the Anne B. He received a call from Tim about raptors stowing away on board his ship, but he didn't believe Tim and thought it was a joke. Donald Gennaro, after reading his full name on the screen, told him the seriousness of the situation, and subsequently, Fred said he'd turn around back to Nublar. His character makes a somewhat cameo as D. Thomson, Captain of the S.S. Venture in The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
