The GMC HM-Series was a tanker truck used as a fuel vehicle by the InGen employees at Site B on Isla Sorna. Following the island's abandonment in the wake of Hurricane Clarissa, the truck, sagging partially on its side, sat unused in the jungle until Ben Hildebrand and Eric Kirby wound up stranded on Sorna following their ill-fated Dino-Soar tour. Sometime after Ben's death, Eric took to hiding in the empty tank of the GMC to avoid the carnivores. After he rescued Dr. Alan Grant from a pack of Velociraptors, the two hid inside the truck overnight before leaving in search of the rest of Grant's group, which included Eric's parents.
