Homalocephale is an extinct genus of pachycephalosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. Its name means "even head" and was noted for its wide hips and flat skull.
In the game Jurassic Park: Explorer the following information is given about this creature:
Homalocephale's distinctive appearance was due to its thick flat skull. Paleontologists think that would most likely have helped to protect it from predators.
Homalocephale can be created from paleo-DNA in the game Jurassic Park III: Park Builder.
Homalocephale was featured as a three-star small herbivore in the videogame Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. They are coated with dark blue or black while underparts are white or gray. The flat head is red. They spend most of the time in the open areas with tall vegetation. They live in large groups and are very rarely found alone. For some reason, they are defenceless and cannot attack enemies with their heads, unlike their cousins Pachycephalosaurus. They are also friends with Pachycephalosaurus, but often extend their trust to other herbivores they can rely on such as sauropods like Brachiosaurus.
Homalocephale is featured in the DVD game. A player collects a dinosaur when he/she wins a minigame when the collected dinosaur is a Homalocephale this video will be shown.
Homalocephale will be a herbivore in the Herbivore Park in the game.
