Homalocephale was a pachycephalosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. Its name means "even head" and was noted for its wide hips and flat skull.

In the game Jurassic Park: Explorer the following information is given about this creature:

Homalocephale's distinctive appearance was due to it's thick flat skull. Paleontologists think that would most likely have helped to protect it from predators.

Jack Horner and other paleontologists have suggested that Homalocephale is actually the juvenile or sub-adult stage of Prenocephale.
