The InGen Field Guide is a 36 page introduction book that came with the Jurassic Park: The Game Deluxe Edition set. "This guide will help you understand the history and outlook of your new employer, the park and its creatures, and staff protocols."[1]
The guide has seven section:
- About InGen
- About Jurassic Park
- The Dinosaurs
- Sorkin's Journal
- Rules & Regulations
- Safety Procedures
- Notes
The Dinosaurs section contains the same dinosaur information as shown of the Tour the Island site. Sorkin's Journal contains the same drawings seen in Sorkin's InGen Field Journal. Most of the information in the other sections is based on or copy-pasted from the InGen Employee Handbook.

Welcome to InGen[]
As a new employee, you have been selected above all others as the pinnacle of what your particular field of expertise offers. We are thrilled that you have joined our family and hope that you are as excited as we are about opening Jurassic Park to the world.
This guide will help you understand the history and outlook of your new employer, the park and its creatures, and staff protocol. We have also included the notes and illustrations of Dr. Laura Sorkin, assistant to Dr. Henry Wu, our chief genetic engineer, without whom Jurassic Park would not exist as it does today. We hope that you enjoy them, and we look forward to you joining the team on Isla Nublar.
Please take time to read the following and familiarize yourself with the contents of your welcome pack.
