Isla Muerta (meaning "Death Island") is an island in the Muertes Archipelago off the coast of Costa Rica. Isla Muerta has a tall, near cylindrical shape with a point in the north and a rounded south.

History[]

1526 (disputed)[]

The Muertes Archipelago, including Isla Muerta, are discovered.

InGen[]

Isla Muerta was acquired by InGen in the year 1985.[1] However, nothing is known about what was done with the island if anything, and there is likely no dinosaur activity.

Games[]

Jurassic World: Evolution[]

In Jurassic World: Evolution, the Five Deaths were incorporated into the game as playable areas. The second location in the games story is set on Isla Muerta in an alternate timeline, in which InGen operated a facility on the island.

Trivia[]

  • In Jurassic World: Evolution, Isla Muerta is referred to as Site C. However, in the film canon, that codename is actually used for Ile Saint-Hubert, making this detail exclusive to the game's continuity.
