The runway
The Isla Sorna Airport was a small airport with a medium length runway used for handling supplies to Isla Sorna. After Hurricane Clarissa came and wiped out Site B, the airport was used to evacuate and, in the absence of humans, was reclaimed by nature as its buildings fell apart. Curiously the run way remained relativley intact.
Jurassic Park III
In Jurassic Park III, the group lands their plane on the runway, but soon hear a roar. They decide to leave while leaving the mercenary Cooper behind. While taxiing, Cooper runs on to the runway hoping they'll stop, but the Spinosaurus arrives and devours Cooper and at the same time hits the plane, causing it to crash. The Airport is not seen again.
Trivia
- In The Lost World: Jurassic Park, it is possible that Peter Ludlow's jet may have used the airport runway to transport him and the infant T-Rex off the island.
