Janet Best is a main character in the interactive audio game Jurassic World Revealed. She is a journalist and the host of the podcast Frankly Best, dedicated to uncovering truths and reporting them to the public. She is known to be a terrible liar and an expert swimmer. She also has knowledge of Ian Malcom's book "God Creates Dinosaurs", but it is unknown if she possesses it or not.
Janet is dedicated deeply to her podcast and wants nothing more than the public to know what Frankly Best has to tell them. However, at some points, she considers the fact that she may be going too far to draw attention to her podcast. While describing the state of the derelict Main Street into her recorder in great detail, she pauses to ask Jessie if her words are too over-the-top.
In 2018, Janet and her executive producer Jessie (the player) travel to Isla Nublar to report on the fate of the dinosaurs before the eruption of Mt. Sibo. During this, they accidentally uncover the secret agenda of Eli Mills and Ken Wheatley to betray the Dinosaur Protection Group and take the dinosaurs for their own purposes. After escaping Isla Nublar aboard the Arcadia in disguise, Janet vows to expose the plot to the public by any means necessary.
Throughout the adventure, Janet relies on Jessie to get them through most decisions. Their actions are determined by the player's choices via voice command.
