Gameplay
Survival is a first-person action-adventure survival game with elements of horror, much in the vein of titles such as Alien: Isolation, Outlast, Mirror's Edge, and A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. In the game, the player is unarmed against the lethal prehistoric predators and must outwit them by utilizing objects in the environment (such as flares) to impede or distract the animals and performing stealth or evasive parkour actions such as rolling, jumping and climbing to survive incoming attacks.

Trivia
- Survival's synopsis is reminiscent of 2011's Jurassic Park: The Game, which also took place the night after the events of the original film and featured several characters (including fellow InGen scientist Dr. Laura Sorkin) who had remained on the island following the storm evacuation and were unintentionally left behind following Hammond's rescue from the park.
- Chris Pugh stated on X that the game was "as canon as any of the expanded canon media is."[1]
- The title of the game is the same as the cancelled Jurassic Park Survival which was inspired by Jurassic Park 3.
