Jurassic Park Episode 1: The Intruder[]
Prologue[]
Nima Cruz is being pursued by an unknown animal in the jungle of Isla Nublar. In her hand is the Barbasol can. Nima has a venomous bite on her arm. Behind her, a first-person view of the thing stalking her is seen.
As she keeps running, Nima looks at the Barbasol can in her hand. She then places it in her backpack and looks at her wound. The creature makes a sound, and the woman stops. She then looks back to her right. As she stares into the jungle, she sees small bright eyes. Shocked, the woman keeps running.
As she runs, she jumps over a tree log, then stumbles upon a rock and clumsily throws it behind her. The woman keeps running, then ducks as she sees a tree branch. She then starts to get disorientated; while this is happening, the unknown creature runs past in front of her.
As she regains herself, the noise is heard once again and she sees the creature's eyes. She turns to her right, but another one of the creatures is seen. The woman tries her left, and, unfortunately, another creature is seen.
As she walks backwards, she falls on her hand; she then crawls back. The woman finally finds herself at a cliff edge, when, suddenly, one of the creatures leaps at her and she falls back down the cliff.
As she falls, the woman searches for something to hold onto. She then holds onto a tree branch, which breaks and causes her to fall again. She then tries to grab on a rock, but her attempt failed. She grabs hold of another branch, but it breaks due to the weight. The woman then falls unconscious at the bottom of the cliff.
Moments later, the woman regains consciousness, and she sees one of the creatures behind a bush; she then runs and trips onto a dirt road where a Jeep is headed for her. She then sees the Jeep coming at her and tries to move out of the way.
As this is happening, the Jeep then starts to swerve. The woman then leaps and the screen fades to black, where the game logo appears.
Welcome to Jurassic Park[]
Earlier that day...
Gerry Harding and his daughter Jess Harding are watching over the Triceratops enclosure. Jess is having difficulty finding any dinosaurs, so she pulls out binoculars to help her. Gerry is wondering where Jess got the binoculars. Jess had stolen the binoculars, but lies to her father about it, saying that his boss, "John Hammer", gave it to her. Jess then uses the binoculars to look around, but still has problems finding any dinosaurs. As she looks around, she zooms in on the view and discovers a tree being shaken by birds, which are dinosaurs, but not the kind she's looking for. She then spots a Triceratops-shaped rock, much to her dismay. Jess then asks her father if they can go down and see the dinosaurs up close. Gerry then makes a remark about when he was working at the San Diego Zoo and didn't let Jess into the tiger enclosure. Jess then answers him about how young she was then. She then keeps looking through the binoculars, she then sees a small building which she asks her father about. Gerry then says that it is just a maintenance building, to keep the dinosaurs "tuned up".
As she keeps looking, she spots a yellow flower, which reminds her of the flowers that her mom has. Gerry then explains that the flower is a Heliconia, which was imported from the mainland to brighten up the place. Jess keeps looking and finally sees a Triceratops, but Jess then claims that "he" ran away. With this her father then explains that all the species on the island are all females. Jess then sees Triceratops footprints and then asks her father if she could stay at the park for another day or two. This then leads into a little talk about Jess' mother. Jess then spots fences and her father says that it is safe for both humans and dinosaurs to have a fence separating them. She then spots foot prints near the stream. While looking around ,Jess sees a car along the dirt road. Gerry then explains this by claiming that they are Hammond's visitors. Jess then makes an ironic remark saying: "I bet they get to see some dinosaurs up close".
Finally, after sometime looking, Jess then sees a herd of Triceratops, two of which are having a "fight". Gerry then says that the alpha female's name is Lady Margaret before reminding himself that he has a sick Triceratops to tend to, which means that Jess has to go back to the Visitor Center as she has to pack because the boat is leaving that same night, before the storm hits the island. Gerry hopes for clear skies.
The Docks[]
At the East Dock, Miles Chadwick argues on the phone with Lewis Dodgson as he waits for Dennis Nedry to arrive with the Barbasol can containing the stolen dinosaur embryos. Miles has a Plan B in case Nedry doesn't show up and he has hired Nima Cruz as part of his backup plan. Miles assures Dodgson that Nedry would never double cross them and that Nima doesn't know or care about anything, demonstrating it by telling her that he's talking to Dodgson with little reaction from Nima. As the two wait for Nedry, Miles checks a tracking device that shows that Nedry isn't anywhere close to the docks and Nima comments on his stolen InGen jacket and asks about the picture of the Barbasol can which Miles identifies is what is going to make them rich.
An announcer reports that everyone must board the boat which is leaving soon, meaning that Miles and Nima will have to go after Nedry themselves. However, Miles can't find their access passes and calls Dodgson back to argue with him about it. Nima finds two passes inside of a guard shack nearby and the phone number for the shack, which she instructs Miles -- who hasn't had any luck with Dodgson -- to use in order to distract the guard for her. With Miles distracting the guard, Nima successfully steals the passes.
The two attempt to walk onto the island, but are stopped by Barney the guard because there is a storm evacuation in progress. Miles lies that Nima is with maintenance and she claims that she does repairs and that her tool is a machete. With Miles backing her cover story up and the person on the boat calling for everyone, including Barney to board immediately, the guard allows them onto the island. Miles orders Nima to let him do the talking as they enter the jungle together.
Jungle Hack[]
As Nima and Miles enter the jungle, Miles complains about the environment and that InGen should've paved all of the island. Nima states that InGen should've never come to Isla Nublar in the first place and she orders Miles to stand back as Nima uses her machete to cut their way through the jungle. The two eventually reaches an electric fence which Miles stupidly claims is to keep teenagers out and detects that the Barbasol can is close by. Nima sees that the power is out, allowing Nima and Miles to climb it, not noticing the sign warning that it's the Diloposaurus enclosure.
Nima spots bird-like footprints, but ones that are much too big. Checking out the surrounding jungle, Nima finds a bird that she recognizes called Moku-pa. Miles expresses his hatred for this jungle as they continue on.
Nedry's Clearing[]
Nima and Miles find Jeep 12 and Dennis Nedry's body which is being eaten by a Dilophosaurus which is scared off when Nima opens the car door. However, there is no sign of the Barbasol can and Miles remains behind to search the trapped jeep while Nima attempts to follow Nedry's tracks to the can. With the help of the jeep's lights, Nima finds strange tracks, Nedry's bloodstained badge and broken glasses, the stick that Nedry threw, and the jeep's winch cable wrapped around a tree, but no sign of the can.
Nima decides to search the jeep herself, eventually deducing that Nedry had the can on him, but he'd slipped, hit his head, fallen, and dropped it before being eaten. By dropping a soda can in the same spot and watching where it rolls to, Nima is able to find the Barbasol can.
Dilo Encounter[]
An excited Miles takes the Barbasol can and calls the contents the next wonder of the world, the crown jewels and the way to screw over InGen because InGen will have nothing if they lose control of this. Miles reveals, much to Nima's shock, that the contents are dinosaur embryos, and he tops off the coolant so that they will last longer. Nima spots a Dilophosaurus behind Miles which spits in his face, although it's mostly blocked by Miles' glasses, and he scares it off by shooting at it.
Miles reminds Nima of the plan which is to bring the canister to his contacts who are bringing a boat for them, and they will get paid and go home. As it's too dangerous to walk to the meeting place with the dinosaurs around, Miles remains below while Nima goes to free Jeep 12 to drive them to the meeting place. Activating the winch and pushing against the back of the jeep, Nima frees it, but the jeep nearly runs over Miles, and it crashes into a tree and stalls. Miles panics, but Nima manages to fix a loose battery cable, restoring the lights, just before a Dilophosaurus pack attacks them, driving Nima and Miles back into the roadway. Nima suggests making a distraction, so Miles attacks her, attempting to use Nima as a distraction so that he can get away with the can. However, the Dilophosaurus pack ignore Nima and kill Miles before turning its attention to her.
Dodging attacks by the Dilophosaurus, Nima manages to get in the jeep and reverse out, running over a Dilophosaurus in the process. However, Nima crashes into a tree again, disabling the jeep for good. As the Dilophosaurus prepare to attack again, they are suddenly scared off by the cries of an unknown dinosaur in the woods. Checking Miles' body, Nima finds him to be dead and retrieves both the embryos and Miles' gun. Nima is attacked by Troodons with one biting her in the arm. Nima flees into the jungle as the eyes of a pack of Troodons lights up the area.
Road Collision![]
In Jeep 14, Gerry and Jess make their way to the East Dock to return Jess to the mainland. Gerry reveals that he will be joining his daughter, but only for the boat ride as Gerry will have to return to the island afterwards. However, Gerry offers to drive Jess to the airport once they reach Costa Rica. Gerry brings up a shoplifting incident that Jess was arrested for before she came to Isla Nublar, but the discussion is interrupted by Nima stumbling out into the middle of the road and collapsing, forcing Gerry to slam on the breaks before he can hit her.
Tending to Nima, Gerry decides to take her to the Visitor Center for treatment and allows Jess to drive the jeep after she confirms that she can drive a stick shift, escaping the dinosaurs pursuing Nima through the jungle. Gerry is baffled by the Troodon toxin as he doesn't recognize it, stating that the bite doesn't match that of a Dilophosaurus, the only poisonous dinosaur that Gerry knows about on the island. Taking a First Aid kit, Gerry attempts to treat Nima's wound with an antiseptic spray, but she rejects his help until Gerry identifies himself as a doctor. Nima begins to go into shock and to have a secondary reaction to the toxin, causing Nima to have trouble breathing. Gerry attempts to inject Nima with epinephrine in order to stabilize her, finally succeeding after he has Jess slow down. After confirming that Jess can handle the rest of the drive, Gerry sets to work on bandaging Nima's wound up.
Gate Crashers[]
Jess is forced to stop outside of the Triceratops Paddock after she finds Bakhita, a young Triceratops, blocking the road. Gerry decides to return Bakhita to the enclosure before continuing, but he has trouble getting the dinosaur to move and find the gate locked in the open position. After Jess finds the door codes in a manual in Jeep 14's glovebox, Gerry is able to enter the Triceratops Maintenance Building and use the manual override to unlock the gate.
Using the jeep's horn and lights, Jess gets Bakhita to move away from the branch that she's eating and Gerry moves it into the enclosure, luring the Triceratops back in. As Gerry closes the gate, Bakhita starts to move back out, so Jess uses the horn and lights again on her. However, the scare tactic draws the attention of Lady Margaret, the alpha female Triceratops who charges through the gate before it's completely closed, and rams into the jeep, causing the horn to jam on.
Triceratops Trouble[]
Lady Margaret's attack leaves Gerry trapped underneath the fallen gate while Jess and Nima are trapped in the wreckage of Jeep 14 with the horn continuing to agitate the Triceratops alpha. Lady Margaret attacks the jeep twice more, further wrecking it, but Jess manages to pull the wires in the steering column just in time to stop the horn, ending Lady Margaret's attack.
Rexy arrives to attack the Triceratops and Gerry barely manages to free himself in time to avoid the Tyrannosaurus rex. Dodging the battling dinosaurs, Gerry helps Jess and Nima from the jeep, telling his daughter that they will be safe if they can take shelter in the Triceratops Maintenance Building. Jess runs to the building, successfully managing to dodge Lady Margaret and Rexy. Taking the unconscious Nima in his arms, Gerry manages to do the same, and the three take shelter in the maintenance building as they wait for the fight to end.
Gerry reassures Jess that they will be safe for the night and convinces her to go to sleep. Gerry loads a tranquilizer rifle kept in the building for added security and awakens the next morning to a strange noise outside.
Back on Track[]
The morning after the battle between Lady Margaret and Rexy, Gerry is awakened by a bird pecking at an outdoor light fixture. Gerry and Jess contemplate the battle, of which the only sign is a broken Triceratops horn left behind by Lady Margaret, and how they will reach the Visitor Center with Jeep 14 having been destroyed.
At the Isla Nublar Field Lab, Doctor Laura Sorkin hacks into the video surveillance system and finds Gerry and Jess. While Laura and her assistant David Banks are stuck because of a washed-out road, Laura manages to hack into the Safari Tour program and activate Explorer 02, sending the tour vehicle to pick up the Hardings and Nima. Gerry directs Laura to send the tour vehicle to the Visitor Center so that he can get medical attention for Nima.
During the journey, Nima's condition continues to deteriorate, and she begins hallucinating Jess as her daughter Atlanta. Using the Spanish that she had learned, Jess successfully instructs Nima to rest.
The Visitor Center[]
Arriving at the Visitor Center, the Hardings find it a wreck and the aftermath of Rexy's fight with the island's Velociraptor pack. Doctor Laura Sorkin attempts to contact the two through an emergency broadcast channel, and Gerry deactivates the Visitor Center PA system, allowing him to find a radio hidden under a dinosaur skull. After adjusting the frequency, Gerry makes direct contact with Laura who reveals the recent events and that they have inadvertently been left behind by John Hammond when he evacuated the park. After Gerry describes Nima's condition, an alarmed Laura recognizes the toxin and tells Gerry that he will have to inject her with carfentanil in order to counteract the toxin despite the drug potentially being fatal to Nima as she will soon go into seizures and convulsions after which the process can't be reversed.
Gerry realizes that the tranquilizer darts contain carfentanil and Jess goes out to Explorer 02 to retrieve her father's darts. However, the arrival of Rexy forces Jess to flee back inside with the darts.
T. rex Showdown![]
Inside of the Visitor Center, Rexy stalks the Hardings while Jess desperately attempts to get the tranquilizer darts to her father as Nima goes into convulsions, leaving them with very little time to save her life. After Jess lures the T. rex below where several crates are stacked, Gerry drops one on Rexy, creating enough of a distraction for Jess to grab the darts and reach the second floor at the cost of Rexy wrecking the stairway. Gerry injects Nima with a drop of carfentanil, curing her of the deadly toxin.
With Rexy continuing her attack, the three attempt to flee through the upper windows, only to have Jess fall and be left dangling over the doorway. Rexy bursts through the doors and interrupts Gerry's attempts to save his daughter. Grabbing his tranquilizer gun and the box of darts tossed to him by Nima, Gerry shoots Rexy three times, driving her off long enough for Gerry to rescue Jess. As the Hardings take cover behind Explorer 02, Gerry contacts Laura and has her restart the tour vehicle, drawing the rampaging T. rex off.
With the Visitor Center secured, Gerry uses the phones to contact InGen for a rescue team. However, upon learning of this, Nima draws a gun on the Hardings and declares that there will be no rescue for them.

At the Parasaurolophus Paddock, Laura enlists Gerry and Jess' help to draw the Parasaurs outside so that she can add the cure to the Lysine contingency to their water supply. Laura instructs the Hardings in the use of the Parasaurs various recorded calls to direct them and reveals that she is well aware that Billy Yoder was lying about the InGen vote. However, it has given Laura an idea about how to enact the change that she wants in order to get Isla Nublar turned into a dinosaur preserve.
After leading the dinosaurs out of the paddock, Gerry tends to an injured Parasaur while Laura enlists Jess' help for her true plan to place her cure in the main water supply which will give it to the wider dinosaur population, not just one species as Laura had claimed was her intention.

Power Plant[]
At the Geothermal Power Plant, Gerry, Jess, Nima, Laura, Billy and Oscar set out to vent the steam pressure and reset the systems in order to prevent an overload. While Laura works the main power console, the men attempt to move the steam valve to no avail. Nima discovers and removes a burned-out motor preventing them from turning the valve. Once it's removed, the men are able to vent the steam and Laura restarts the system, avoiding the overload.
However, the group inadvertently triggers a failsafe in the process, causing blast doors to drop over all of the exits from the room. Worse, the remaining Velociraptors led by the Scarred Raptor Leader enter, seeking revenge. With the only working console being on the ground floor near the raptors, Oscar volunteers for a near certain suicide mission to open the doors. As the others distract the Velociraptors, Oscar manages to sneak through the machinery, but gets caught near the door. As Oscar is slowly and brutally killed, he manages to hit the button, opening the doors and letting the others escape deeper into the plant.
The Nest[]
Chased by the Velociraptors, the group barricades themselves in a room, only to have the raptors suddenly run off in fear. Billy begins to lose it over the death of Oscar while Jess finds the body of D-Caf who is still alive, but paralyzed and brain dead from the same toxin that had afflicted both Nima and Vargas. Inside of his abdomen, Gerry finds eggs laid by the dinosaur responsible for the bites, the Troodon. After Laura admits that she knew that the Troodon got loose, Billy attacks her at knife-point, demanding answers.

Emerging from a service door on the surface near one of the park's overlooks, a frantic Gerry wants to return to the tunnels to find his daughter, but Nima is sure that they will survive and points out that the others will be heading for the Marine Facility. Seeing sense, Gerry agrees to head there overland and Nima stops to get her bearings. Nima reveals her history as one of the natives of Isla Nublar before her people were relocated by InGen when they bought the island from Costa Rica, explaining that her current mission is to get the money that she needs to get Nima's daughter Atlanta out of the ghetto that they're living in and establish a new life for themselves. Gerry and Nima agree to work together and make a deal.
Nima determines that they have a tedious hike to the Marine Facility, but the discussion is interrupted by what appears to be the sound of a Dilophosaurus from a nearby tunnel. However, this instead turns out to be the tour program of Explorer 02, heavily damaged by Rexy's earlier attack, but still relatively intact and continuing along the tour route. Stopping at the overlook, the automated program announces that the tour vehicle's next stop is the Marine Facility, giving Gerry and Nima a quicker and better way to reach the others.
