Toyline information[]

Um.. quite the opposite. We should have more detailed information on this wiki. I've spoken to jptoys.com and they said we could use their images, just as long as they're credited. Some of I've already created.--User_My_Name_Is_Tom_YingYangsm.pngMy Name Is Tom (Talk / Edits) 06:25, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

When I see the description of all the toys at JPToys I can't imagine we can give a more detailed description. Since info already exists I thought we'd better except defeat and only give a global description. But that's my opinion. MismeretMonk 07:58, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

Which dinosaurs deserve an article?[]

I do have a bit of concern for the wiki: there are several pages that probably shouldn't even exist on the wiki (i.e. dinosaurs that appear in no canon at all), especially the toyline dinosaurs. I think the toyline dinosaurs pages shouldn't be on the wiki as they serve only one purpose (several wikis I've edited in the past have had only toyline pages and the creatures/vehicles were listed in them and did not have articles of their own) so I was thinking about deleting some of them.

And I'll make sure I don't add too much to the wiki, as it already needs, as we say in the railfan community, a massive overhaul.

I can understand your point, but I still disagree.
If we only make dinosaur articles of dinosaurs that appear in movies or novels, new users will constantly make articles about the dinosaurs that haven't got an article yet. Then I have to delet the same articles over and over again. I think I would rather have a short article about each dinosaur and save the deleting time.
Furthermore, I think that if a dinosaur appears in two toylines, it is a bigger part of the JP franchise than a dinosaur that is seen in one movie for 10 seconds.
But I might as well be wrong.MismeretMonk 07:39, July 21, 2011 (UTC)
