Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is an animated series, and a direct sequel to Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. Like its predecessor, the series is created by DreamWorks Animation, and aired exclusively on Netflix. Season 1 was released on May 24, 2024.[2] Season 2 was confirmed on June 6, 2024, and is scheduled to premiere on October 17, 2024.

"Set six years after the events at Camp Cretaceous, members of "The Nublar Six" are struggling to find their footing off the islands, navigating a world now filled with dinosaurs and people who want to hurt them. Reunited in the wake of a tragedy, the group comes together only to find themselves on the run and catapulted into a global adventure to unravel a conspiracy that threatens dinosaur and humankind alike and finally learn the truth about what happened to one of their own."[3]

- The series shares its name with the season 2 finale of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.
- Ceratosaurus, Monolophosaurus, an unnamed baby Velociraptor, a red Ankylosaurus and the Atrociraptor 'Red' were all seen numerous times in the show’s marketing, and it is unknown if they will make an appearance in future seasons.
- It was confirmed to take place in the events leading up to Jurassic World: Dominion.
