    • TyrannosaurusBrachiosaurus, Baryonyx, Carnotaurus, Allosaurus, Stygimoloch, Sinoceratops, and Indoraptor are based on their Fallen Kingdom versions.
    • Velociraptor, Triceratops, GallimimusStegosaurus, AnkylosaurusApatosaurus, and Indominus are based on their Jurassic World versions.
    • Spinosaurus, Corythosaurus, Pteranodon, and Ceratosaurus are based on their Jurassic Park III versions.

    • Dilophosaurus is based on its Jurassic Park version.
    • Metriacanthosaurus, Edmontosaurus, and Suchomimus are based on their Islanublar.jurassicworld.com versions.
  • Jurassic World Evolution and Jurassic World Evolution 2 are considered to be successors of Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis.
  • Initially, dinosaurs never attacked park rangers, despite it being depicted in the first trailer. This is due to a contractual agreement between Frontier games and a car manufacturer that helped with development, although this changed in Update 1.12.
  • The song played through the ranger jeep radio is  "Las Gaviotas". This is the same song that is played in Jurassic Park when Dennis Nedry meets Lewis Dodgson.
  • The only creatures from the Jurassic Park franchise that do not appear in this game are the Dimorphodon and the Mosasaurus.
    • The Mosasaurus and Dimorphodon appear in the upcoming sequel to this game, as well as various other creatures introduced later on in the franchise.
