Kaijiangosaurus is a genus of theropod dinosaur that lived during the Middle Jurassic in China. It belonged to the tetanuran clade, but the specific family is unclear. The name is derived from Kaijiang County, where its fossils were first discovered. There are doubts as to if Kaijiangosaurus is a valid dinosaur, because it has been suggested to be a synonym of Gasosaurus (which hailed from not only the same strata, but also the same assemblage) or Xuanhanosaurus. It had a length of five meters.
Jurassic Park franchise[]
Kaijiangosaurus is mentioned in the description for Gasosaurus in the Dinopedia section of Jurassic Park Institute.
