Kunpengopterus is an extinct genus of wukongopterid pterosaur from the middle-late Jurassic Tiaojishan Formation of northeastern China. The genus contains 2 species, the type species K. sinensis and K. antipollicatus. It is often called "Monkeydactyl" because it has opposable thumbs, which it uses for gripping in the trees of the canopy and potentially grabbing preys and other stuffs.
