A mammoth is any species of the extinct elephantid genus Mammuthus. They inhabit Africa, Eurasia and North America from the Late Miocene to the Late Holocene.
Jurassic Park franchise[]
Two species of mammoths are known in the franchise. The first is the Woolly Mammoth which appears in some video games. The other is the Columbian Mammoth, who appear as an illustration in a book.
