María was a servant who worked at Jurassic Park, she is skilled at making ginger ice cream. She is described as "beautiful" and "silent".[1]

María only appears in the first novel in the Bungalow chapter. She served ginger ice cream to John Hammond and Henry Wu at Hammond's bungalow. Hammond says she was Haitian, and her mother was French.[2]
It is unknown if she survived the incident in the park.
