Megazostrodon is an extinct genus of basal mammaliaforms belonging to the order Morganucodonta. It is approximately 200 million years old. 2 species are known: M. rudnerae from the Early Jurassic of Lesotho and South Africa, and M. chenalifrom the Late Triassic of France.
It lived alongside dinosaurs like Lesothosaurus and Massospondylus.

Megazostrodon appears in the chapter Alongside Dinosaurs, along with Catopsalis as examples of mammals that coexisted with the dinosaurs.[1] However, Megazostrodon itself was not a true mammal, but rather a basal mammaliaform related to them.
