The northern caiman lizard (Dracaena guianensis) is a species of lizard found in the north of South America. Inhabiting swamps and other flooded habitats, its body is similar to that of a crocodile. It is also built similarly to its cousin the tegu. With a heavy body and short but powerful limbs, the northern caiman lizard is an excellent swimmer, but it is also a good climber.
The caiman lizard isn't very studied in their natural habitat, as much of what we know from this animal comes from zoos and homes.

Jurassic World Incident[]
A hybrid northern caiman lizard that possesses feathers was among the hybrids that were created by InGen and kept inside the Hammond Creation Lab. It was observed by Owen Grady, Claire Dearing, and Gray and Zach Mitchell when they entered the lab.
