Trivia[]
- Mae meets Bumpy for the first time in this episode.
- The moment Daniel wants to capture Bumpy, Kenji seems shocked that his father doesn't care that Bumpy is his friend. As Kenji begs Daniel to leave Bumpy alone, it shows that Kenji still has loyalty to his friends as he, despite still telling himself that Daniel just wants to sell his technology to Biosyn in order to help the dinosaurs, Kenji doesn't want to see one of his friends controlled that way.
- While on Isla Nublar, Lewis Dodgson finds and retrieves the Barbasol can containing the embryos that Dennis Nedry had stolen for him 25 years before, explaining how Dodgson has it in 'Jurassic World: Dominion'. Depsite Dodgson mentions he needed the embryos 25 years earlier it's actually "23" years since the events of Jurassic Park since the events of the fifth season takes place during the year 2016.
- Dodgson is almost killed by a pack of Dilophosaurus, mirroring the fate of Nedry and his own eventual fate in Jurassic World: Dominion.
- Limbo returns in this episode.
- This is the first time since The Lost World: Jurassic Park that the Compsognathus kills a human: Lana Molina. She faced a similar fate to Dieter Stark.
- First in this episode it becomes more obvious to Kenji that he misunderstood his newfound relationship with his dad as Mae Turner clarify to him that if Daniel just treats Kenji as business partner and colleague so Kenji can make money for Daniel is just conditional love and not love because Daniel actually cares about Kenji which makes it clear that Daniel still has no true relationship with his son as Kenji thought. Kenji is hurt and angered by this as it makes him start to doubt again if it was the right choice to side with his father.
- When Kenji after Mae helps him to understand that Daniel has no true love him sees his father return with Dodgson and Hawkes bringing the chipped baryonyx Limbo and a dimorphodon with them Kenji look's schocked, probably because he also just has realized with what Mae just told him that Daniel actually not saves the dinosaurs, but prepares the project of Biosyn to use the animals for their own gain.
- Blue and the demolished ruins of the original Visitor Center return in this episode.
- Dodgson mentioned Owen Grady and referenced Blue's sisters while looking for her at the Visitor Center ruins, but is unaware of her sibilings' fate.
