Oxalaia is a possibly dubious genus of spinosaurid theropod dinosaur discovered in Brazil from the Late Cretaceous period. Discovered in 1999, Oxalaia is only known from fragmentary remains and its validity is controversially debated, as it could potentially just be a junior synonym of Spinosaurus.

Jurassic World: Primal Ops[]
Oxalaia (under its species name Oxalaia quilombensis) was part of the new Dominion dinosaurs in Jurassic World: Primal Ops being a legendary dinosaur in the Baryonyx family. Despite its relationship to Spinosaurus, its traits in the game were much more lifelike and in keeping with those of the real animal. For example, it was correctly shown with a tail fin, something other spinosaurs in the franchise do not possess but real spinosaurs did.
