Plumalexius is a genus of wasps in the extinct monotypic family Plumalexiidae, containing 2 species: the type species Plumalexius rasnitsyni, known from the Late Cretaceous White Oaks Pit in Sayreville, New Jersey; and Plumalexius ohmkuhnlei, known from the Cretaceous Burmese amber.

Jurassic Park[]
Giant wasps (possibly Plumalexius) appear as enemies in the PC version of Jurassic Park, as well as Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues. However, this seems unlikely because Plumalexius was described in 2011, whereas these giant wasps debuted in 1994 in this game.
