Prenocephale was a small genus of pachycephalosaurid dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous (Campanian) of Mongolia and was similar in many ways to its close relative, Homalocephale and Goyocephale, which may simply represent Prenocephale juveniles. However, recent finds of new specimens, which included juvenile Prenocephale, seems to suggest that Homalocephale and Goyocephale, even if the current holotypes are juveniles, are distinct, thus creating doubt in the "flat-headed pachycephalosaurs are juveniles" theory. Prenocephale can reach up to 7.9 feet in length.
