The Radio Tower Bunker it was a structure created by InGen for the use of employees in the Jurassic Park of Isla Nublar.

Initially its purpose was to be used during the original park, but due to the abandonment of the island it was unused, until it would be to serve the Jurassic World System for tracking the island's dinosaur species.

It's first appearance is in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Description[]

The bunker on the outside is protected with solid concrete walls and a shape that resembles the buildings of the original park. It is accessed from an entrance of double steel doors and a short corridor that reach another pair of internal doors.

After the entrance, it arrives the operating room, with a rectangular shape and full of equipment necessary to perform its function, containing several monitors that when activated show a map of the Isla Nublar, you will find the island in some abandoned enclosures and the location of each species of dinosaur, functioning when detecting the mobility of them, regardless of the status of the implanted chips.

The Tower Radio Bunker is connected to a system of Maintenance Tunnels, which abandoned, previously served to take employees from one place to another, and to transport materials. It is unknown if the place is still connected to the old tunnels, or if it is connected to other locations for Jurassic World. Outside the dense structure, it's seen an high communications tower.

Story[]

The bunker was already on the island during the events of the Jurassic Park Incident , it is uncertain whether it was used or not. Given their existence, it can be known that the first dinosaurs created by InGen possessed localizable chips, or at least the Isla Nublar inhabitants.

It is known that at least that the technical system was remodeled to upgrade to the new park, because it has in its register the cameras, enclosures and new species belonging to that one.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom[]

By 2018, Eli Mills thought of using the Radio Bunker Tower to take over Blue the Velociraptor which imposed a difficulty on the team he had hired to go to Isla Nublar and remove some species of dinosaurs, needing some employee who with the footprint of his hand could activate the tracking system from within.

Eli later makes contact with Claire Dearing, former head of operations, to send her to Isla Nublar and meet her team, and this by making the system active, more easily find the raptor with his species code.

Through a betrayal, Claire and Franklin Webb are trapped in the bunker, losing contact with the outside world after they were locked up there while the eruption of Mount Sibo was just beginning, so they try to open the doors again, not getting it, but being able to open the opening in the main tunnel of the tower, of which they would not opt for the appearance of a Baryonyx that came from the tunnel.

The Baryonyx tries to attack them failing by the fall of lava seeping from the deteriorated roof of the bunker, giving both the opportunity to escape through the trapdoor, from which they lock the Baryonyx in the bunker, so that he presumably dies.

With the terrain movements, the monitors and other apparatuses in the bunker were already falling and stopped working, being fulled with the fiery lava filtration, which would eventually consume the tower and the valley in which it was located.
